Buying and selling Instagram accounts is highly against Instagram’s ToS.
With this said, I met a guy who just sold his Instagram account. I wanted to note this because it is interesting information.
Since I find it interesting, others will also probably find it interesting.
The account is less than 2 months old. With a high-frequency posting strategy, 4 posts (Reels and images) a day, it grew to ~650,000 followers. These are legitimate organic followers, some of whom are big names (people who I know). The niche is entrepreneurship and startups.
The account was sold for $17,000.
I said to the guy:
“Somebody like you could start a SaaS and use your Instagram skills to get MRR for that SaaS and make way more, no? Or even like a dumb mobile game?”
And he said:
“Sky is the limit for ventures we can start using our skills.”
